Compress files using ZIP
When submitting assignments or projects to your learning platform, you may be required to upload multiple documents as a single file. Compressing them into a ZIP archive is an effective solution. This guide will walk you through the simple steps to compress your files using ZIP, ensuring a smooth and organized submission process.
Compress files using ZIP (Windows)
- Navigate to the folder or files you want to compress.
- Highlight the items you wish to include in the ZIP archive. To select multiple files, hold down the [Ctrl] key on your keyboard and click on each file you wish to zip.
- Right-Click the selection and choose Select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder
- If you are adding many files to the new ZIP file folder, it may take a few moments to create it. The folder to be created in the same location as the original folder.
- You can rename the zip file as necessary.
Compress files using ZIP (Mac)
